Our delivery service can be set up so that we visit your home as often as every 4 weeks, or as spaced apart as far as only twice a year. Two days before your delivery, you'll receive an automatic reminder call letting you know to expect your upcoming salt delivery. On the day of your delivery, your delivery gentleman will follow the instructions you have left with our office upon signing up, deliver your salt and complete a seven point check of your softener system.
The Seven Point Check
1. Check and/or reset your time clock.
2. Check to be sure your by-pass valve is in the service position.
3. Check the water level in the brine tank.
4. Check your salt level and fill up the tank.
5. Visually check the overall condition of your equipment.
6. Let you and our office know if a potential problem exists that might require servicing.
7. Take the empty bags away to be recycled.
To keep your water feeling soft and luxurious, your water softener has to go through a self-cleaning cycle called regeneration. When this process is underway the softener will be flushed clean with a salt solution called brine that is composed of salt and water. Many softeners now only regenerate after a certain amount of gallons used in your system which makes your softener and salt usage much more efficient.
